UNDERSTANDING HOW THE WARRANTY WORKS!

At VEI Rebuilding, we guarantee the work done directly on each airend for 365 days. We are confident on the work we perform and will gladly investigate any claims brought to our attention. This limited warranty can only be applied to airends that are sent to us for an in depth investigation. Failure to send VEI Rebuilding the unit will void and null the warranty agreement. While we guarantee our work, VEI Rebuilding is not responsible for any extraneous issues that occur to the airend. Any self-inflicted damage to the rebuild will void the warranty agreement and hold you liable for future damages. Failing to provide adequate and appropriate maintenance to the unit will lead to contamination and damage to the airend which will void the warranty agreement. Any damage found to gears will automatically void the warranty agreement. This damage can only occur due to operational issues outside of the work we perform.  The most common cause of issues is inappropriate installation of the airend once repaired. Please ensure it is installed by a qualified individual as this damage is not covered under our warranty.

THE FOLLOWING ARE PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT VOIDING OUR WARRANTY

• Prior to running the airend, it must be manually primed with oil. Failure to do so will permanently lock the unit

• Ensure all air filters, oil filters, separators, and lubricant are replaced each time the airend has work done

• Verify the inlet valve is functional and working properly prior to reinstalling the airend

• Always flush any lines containing lubricant prior to installation with fresh lubricant to ensure no contaminations are pushed into the airend 

• Each unit requires lubrication – be sure to use the appropriate lubricant per manufacturer specifications 

• Follow a maintenance schedule to change filters and lubricant as needed – recall, the more the unit is run the more frequent these replacements will be required

• A continuous power supply to the airend is needed. If the power supply is disrupted, even momentarily, the entire air compressor must be turned off and allowed to stop completely before restarting to avoid damage

• Always remember to have lubricant in your unit upon start up – starting without lubrication may cause your airend to lock up and void warranty

VEI Rebuilding takes pride in high quality airend repairs and stands behind the work performed. Occasionally, damage to the unit can occur via transportation from us to you. If you are not completely satisfied with the airend you are receiving, please contact us immediately prior to installing the unit. Failure to contact VEI Rebuilding prior to installation will void any warranty. Each warranty claim is investigated on a case by case basis, and results of each investigation will be documented and shared with the appropriate parties.
